It does what the description claims. The only downfall is that unless you're close to the alarm when it goes off, there's a good chance you will miss it, especially in a loud environment. The flashing lights and audible alarm only go on for 60 seconds, then there's no indication it's triggered unless you purposefully go look at the timer. If you could set the alarm to go off for 5 or 10 minutes, it would make all the difference in the world.Versatile but not the easiest to learn or use. Tried working it intuitively at first and eventually surrendered and read the included manual. To get to timer mode you have to hold the MIN button for 4 seconds. At 2 seconds, the numbers flash and you may instinctively want to let go but that's only the clock reset mode. When the power is turned off to save battery life the clock resets. In which case I'd rather just not have the clock function at all so it's automatically in timer mode when turned on. The magnet in back is small and weak. Clip/stand option is decent. The 4 modes: clock/ stopwatch/ countdown timer in min and sec/ countdown timer in hrs and min. There are 4 switches in back to turn on off alarm light, sound, vibration, and power. All in all great portable timer with different types of alarms to choose from. The only disappointment was needing to bypass the clock function every time after powering on. Requires one AAA battery.I like that there are multiple ways it can alert you to when the timer goes off, but setting the timer was difficult for me because one button did more than one function and it got to to be confusing. probably a younger person would have no problem, but I did.I was able to quickly understand how to use this device. I have a bad habit of forgetting to turn the hose off when I am watering. Now I set the reminder alarm for 15 minutes and it makes a loud noise, flashes red lights and vibrates! No more flooding in the garden! So thankful!Works ok for what it is. I needed a bright flashing alarm in a noisy environment. The small leds flash but unless you are looking right at them, it does not get your attention.I just wish this was easier to adjust between time and timer function. I'm using it for work and passing it around to different people to use and it's just not super user friendly to switch between functions.The timer came as expected and I was excited to have a silent vibrate option for my classroom. The timer is quite noisy when it buzzes. It also requires you to reset the time each time. Not fun or easy for the needs of my classroom. Disappointed.Good timer. Gives good alert options. The back battery protector is kind of flimsy though. It comes of easy if you pull it out of your pocket too quickly.Don't be put off by that headline. I was pleased with this well-made plastic timer that measures 75mm x 50mm (3"x 2") Access to the battery compartment is easy and it has 4 on/off switches. One is for the unit and the others are for the flashing light, another for the audible alarm and the third for the vibrating alarm. Not only is it a timer but it can be used as a clock and a stopwatch. The flashing light is good as is the vibrating alarm as you can feel that in your pocket. The audible alarm is not overloud so you would need good hearing if you weren't close by. You set up the programme you need by the min and sec buttons which are dual purpose. That is what I meant by the headline. This is just what I wanted an alarm to carry aroundThis does exactly everything it promises. Very simple but clever design with a belt and magnetic clip that also serves as a stand. The red LED light is very bright and easily gets your attention if left in your peripherals. I never knew I would so enthusiastically endorse such a cheap and simple timer but I am really very pleased with this purchase. And if you are also looking for a timer with vibrate, LED flashing, or sound alarm functions which can easily be set to have any combination of the three, then look no further.Works well, once you can sort out how to program the timing event you want to set.Setting the timer is all done through the “min” button by keeping it depressed as it cycles through the different functions.worked for 3 weeks, used maybe 10-15 times now it refuses to change functions to use as a stopwatch, removed / replaced battery makes no difference, total junk and in the bin, can no one produce products that at least last their guarantee period anymore?Only draw back is holding a button to get to timer. But other then that is awesome. Particularly if like me, you can't stand noisey timers. So you can have vibrate. Flashing or both. Love it so much ❤
